Lace is usually considered to be an old-fashioned and conservative thing. In the thesis I was interested to study
the confrontation of old and new techniques and ideologies. I took several old lace patterns and modelled them
in 3DStudioMax. Eventually I picked one and made a 3D-file which was printed out with selective laser sintering-technique.

The bowl was produced in the co-operation with Amsterdam based company called Freedom Of Creation.
